v. Romantic Love of Filipinos & Tumbuka Tribes

Love is one of the important thing when it comes to culture. Because for some people they are so obedient that even if they don't love someone they are force by there parents so at the end they still have to follow the culture that they used to. They will going to married the person that they don't love and so for some there is no happy ending. I've research for some group of people that has a strict policy when it comes to culture. Mostly it is from the urban places and of them is the Tumbuka Tribe.

Through giving of flowers, love letters, stuffed toys, expensive jewelry, sweet dates and maybe a wonderful dinner at the rooftop is our basis of romantic feeling but are we going to consider that as a romantic love? Different Countries different cultures. One of a tribe on South Africa and that is  Tumbuka Tribe.

The RomanticLove among Tumbuka People by Mwizenge S. Tembo on the site Hunger Culture . Single Young Women called is Mbeta, Single Young Men called is Asjaha . Mbetas sleep on a hut that known as nthanganeni, and for Asjaha it is mphala. Jaha will going to go to the nthanganeni for look for a partner. Once the two see each other and they feel that there is spark or they are love at first sight but suddenly one of them might back off because there is no true or same feelings. But if there is really an big spark the jaha will ask if he can court the Mbeta and if the Mbeta say yes the romantic love will start. Jahacan visit a Mbeta everyday but only for One Hour on the Nthanganeni. And when the visiting hours is ended the Mbeta should escort the Jaha. Couples may have a exchange of Chikole ( personal possession ) as a symbol of commitment and love for each other. A Mbeta could give him a bracelet, scarf, bangle or ear rings. While the Asjaha might give a Mbeta a handkerchief or a chithumwa means a small charm or love that he made and might always carry in his pocket. And that is all for the Tumbuka Tribe.

There are countries that no thing just the Tumbuka Tribe they find for the partner that they want to be with for the of their life and on these are the Filipinos. For us Filipinos a simple good thing that someone shown to is we called Love. But we considered Romantic Love as a Relationship with an opposite sex. In the Philippines basically there is no rule when it co mes to Relationship, if you like someone on Facebook you will just going to Chat them the suddenly he might court you, you might court her. When a guy did a wink eye your now in a relationship. You can love anyone that you like but if he or she loves you also. There is no thing such as Fixed marriage in the Philippines. As long as you have the bless of your Parents you can marry the person you love as soon as possible either in Church or in Municipal. And marriage is very important to the Filipinos because it is one of the 7 Gifts of God. Filipinos is very God Fearing and Religious. Even how hard their life they never leave each other. They face the trials with the smile on there lips and work as one.

Even we all have different culture the most important thing is you should always connect what your heart and brain says don't one let of them raise to another. Culture is just the basis of your faith to your country. Be with the person you truly love for you to be happy and don't repent at the end.
